Wedding Photography, Entertainment, Planning and Album (2016)

Rubix Events provided the DJ and photography for our wedding. Our meetings with the team to discuss our requirements, which included discussions at the venue, assured us that our day was in the safest of hands allowing us to relax and enjoy our day to the full.

The team listened to our requests and met our expectations and more! The music ensured our guests were dancing all night and the dance floor was never empty. The photographs were amazing, just what we wanted and provided a wedding album that captured our day perfectly. If we could relive the day again and again we would hire the Rubix team every time!

Family Portrait Session (2016)

We received the most professional of services and we are absolutely delighted with the results. Florence And Henry did not make it easy for the photographs to be taken, although you would not know from the amazing photographs achieved. First class job and we would not hesitate to use this company again. Thank you.

Disco and Photography (2016)

Another great party from the guys. Kids dancing all evening and the parents and teachers getting involved. Great to have the photography alongside this year taking snaps, this will make a great noticeboard display for our infants entrance hall. Thanks again. Same time next year please!

Massive thank you to Rubix events who supplied the DJ, Photographer and Photo-booth for a 'Wedding Themed' fund raiser.  They embraced the idea and happily took on the madness!  All the communication before, during and after the event was excellent.  On the night everyone was professional, on time, listened to my requests and helped to close off the evening brilliantly.  The whole event raised £6000 for Prostate Cancer UK and their product definately helped towards everyone parting with their cash on the night.  I would definitely use them again.

Family Portrait Session (2015)

Anoop has done family photos of both my children when they were born. He makes us feel comfortable during the process and he knows what will work to get a great picture. He is fab with the children and hopefully he can do our third parcel when it arrives in the spring?

This is my third time hiring the PA system from Rubix. They always fit me us in on short notice and are extremely efficient and professional. Highly recommended.

I have booked Tom and Chris a few times over the years for family occasions/parties. I am always impressed how well they entertain us and how they cater for us old fogies on the dance floor.

Wedding (2015)

After attending a wedding reception where we remembered how great the music and photographers had been, there was no doubt in our minds that we had to have Rubix for our Wedding. From the first meeting with Anoop, to the pre wedding shoot with Anoop and Tom then right through to 1am on the wedding night Rubix were absolutely fantastic. Such professionals and put both myself and my now Wife at ease during every moment. Our guests couldn't sing their praises enough and are still commenting on how great the DJ and photo booth was in the evening, even saying if they have an event they will be asking me for their number, which I will happily give them, knowing that they won't be disappointed! You guys were fantastic and made our day from an already brilliant one into an absolutely amazing one! We can not thank you enough!

Tom and Chris have done the music for two of my parties and both nights were an absolute success! The music was spot on, there was dancing all night, one great song after another. They were punctual, friendly, flexible with music requests and basically two lovely guys.

Birthday Party (2013)

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday and enlisted the help of Rubix Events. I had booked the African Queen in Hounslow as I wanted to have a Hollywood/Bollywood themed party with Indian food. Anoop advised me on the menu choices, invitations and even arranged a birthday cake.

Tom and Chris provided the music which covered 70's, 80's to present day which was skillfully mixed with Bhangra. I was so pleased that everyone kept dancing even between courses!

It's the attention to detail that makes an event, and Rubix liaised with the restaurant and ensured everything ran smoothly. From the moment I arrived and found they had decorated the restaurant for me, I didn't have to do a thing except enjoy my evening. Tom kept the evening on track, and I have some wonderful photos to remind me of the occasion.

I can highly reccomend Rubix for any celebratory occasion. A massive thank you for a wonderful evening.

Wedding (2013)

Having had Tom and Chris DJ for us before for a party as well as other family members using their services we had no hesitation asking them to DJ at our wedding. They were brilliant and really helped in making the day and evening special. They were extremely well organised and didn't need to ask us anything on the day so we were able to enjoy ourselves. We also found them very reasonably priced for such a professional service and would highly recommend them.

Birthday Party (2013)

Thank you for a great service. I love, love, love your slide shows. Really well put together. Have had them for two significant parties and was great seeing the recipients faces as they are revealed from babies up to date. Having someone there specifically to take the photos during the party was great. No wondering if I had captured all present, or remembering where I had put the camera down whilst hosting. It also meant that seeing the finished album was a surprise for me too. Good fun and very professional.

Wedding (2012)

When you get married one of the main things you think about is the DJ, which for some couples can add extra stress. Finding a decent DJ, will they cost too much, will they provide a good atmosphere and get people on the dance floor? For my wife and I however this was not the case, we had Rubix disco DJ at our wedding and they were brilliant.

We were recommended them from a friend who had them at their wedding. So I rang Tom and arranged to meet up, we went through what songs we wanted on the night and also a complication cd for the registry. 

So the wedding day came it was an amazing day, we then went to the reception and soon the evening guests arrived. What I really liked about the way Rubix DJ'd was the initial background music. They then timed it perfectly to crank up the volume and bang out the tunes.

My now wife was so impressed that even today she still mentions, "I can't believe they had Damian Marley" what she didn't mention was 5 minutes prior to her asking for the song, they actually didn't have it. But being the good DJ's they quickly downloaded it and played the track. Which made my wife extremely happy. I think that bit of service sums up Rubix, professional very easy to get along with and work with and willing to go that little extra to ensure our day had a perfect end. A cracking party.

Thanks guys, will definitely be booking you in the future just not for my wedding. Perhaps one day a 1st birthday party.

We wanted to thank you so much for making our reception so much fun. Our family and friends are still talking about how much fun they had and it was all because of you guys. You really know how to get a party going and get people up and moving. Rubix were great and we cant thank you enough for helping to make our day so perfect.

Birthday Party (2011)

I booked Rubix for my Birthday Party, they were fab! They called before hand to make sure they had all my favourite tracks and on the actual evening played a really good mix of songs which catered to all ages got everyone dancing! There were lots of compliments at the end of the night, and even a booking for one of my friend's weddings!!

Wedding (2010)

In many ways, THE MUSIC, was one of the most important elements to our big wedding day. As a couple we had so many different ideas and different styles of music that we wanted to combine into the reception and party. Being the ultimate professionals, Chris and Tom guided us through the best way to plan in advance, brought ideas to the table and combined EVERYTHING that we wanted music-wise for the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble. We organised a Pre-Wedding planning session with them and was able to play them lots of music that we wanted to incorporate into their set. They went way beyond the call of duty. They even provided the PA and the equipment needed to ensure we could have a Master of Ceremonies...they handled all of that. They played the perfect kind of music for when all of the guests arrived, they played music, at the right volume, whilst our 120 guests were eating then they put on a party of all parties for us in the evening. Many of the 300 evening guests were dancing all night. We wanted a combination of African and popular music...in short, they PLANNED, they DELIVERED the perfect accompaniment to the perfect day.

Birthday Party (2010)

Rubix were excellent at my birthday party. They have top notch equipment and lights which really added to the atmosphere of a great night. They even put together a short playlist from songs I asked for before the night and added a couple of up to the minute songs as the night went on. I recommended them for my uncle's 60th and they put on just as good a show. I'll definitely be using them again.

Corporate (2007 onwards)

I have used Rubix quite a few times over the past six years. Past events have included Christmas Parties, Outdoor Summer Fun Days and a Store launch party. Booking is always so simple over the phone and the guys are very easy to accommodate us even at short notice. They are always professional, efficient and entertain us all with such ease. Highly recommended.
